The Future of DINGO and Predictive Maintenance Software

Aug 16, 2022 | Company News, Insights

New technology leads to higher expectations and standards

The future of DINGO is about building a network of industry stakeholders and partners focused on creating a sustainable industry. Technology is evolving, leading to higher expectations and standards. We want to continue our journey of collaboration with our customers and the industry to raise the bar.

The keys to our future lie in:
1. Economic viability
2. Low-carbon, sustainable economy
3. Workplace health and safety

1. Economic viability

According to the PWC Mine 2021 report, mining is one of the few industries that emerged from the COVID-19 economic crisis in excellent financial and operational shape. Mining companies are in a robust financial position to pivot toward the future.

For our defence business, the Australian government’s commitment to removing barriers to industry participation signals an opportunity for DINGO to form enterprising partnerships in this space. We are uniquely positioned to participate in the plan for economic prosperity, as an Australian provider of sustainment technology.

2. Low-carbon, sustainable economy

The world is in an era-defining transition to a low-carbon, sustainable economy. More than 70 countries have set ambitious net-zero targets. Many global companies, including several top 40 miners, have made similar commitments.

Environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) has been a growing global discussion point. Since the pandemic began, the impetus to set the world on a more sustainable footing has taken on new urgency. For the top 40 miners, ESG means more than a social licence to operate or ‘the right thing to do’. Financial stability allows them to deliver the materials needed to drive global decarbonization while continuing to divest themselves from thermal coal and protect shareholder value.

This presents an opportunity for DINGO to play a leading role in the transition to a low-carbon global economy and carve out a path for long-term value creation in the industry.

3. Workplace, health and safety

COVID-19 has accelerated the timeline for the Top 40 Miners’ modernisation, digitisation and automation programs. In response to health concerns, companies have fast-tracked technologies to reduce the number of people on-site and increase remote operating capabilities.

DINGO’s Remote Asset Health Centers eliminate the need to place specialists on the ground in all locations. Our Condition Intelligence experts can apply their maintenance expertise remotely to safely deliver corrective actions to a local team and track issues through to resolution.

Where does DINGO fit?

DINGO has proven to be solution-driven, guided by the industry direction towards a future that is sustainable, safe, and economically viable. Our business has grown in response to our strong relationships and emerging technologies. We have had the opportunity to launch new ideas throughout our history, expanding into the Defence industry in 2021 and most recently launching intelligence and the evolution of the TRAKKA platform.

We want you to join us so that together, we can find a better way.

“Partnering with Dingo allows us to leverage remotely located condition intelligence experts from the get-go for a fraction of the normal cost to company. This allows our few reliability experts to focus on the top issues and make important decisions to ensure our fleet availability is where it needs to be instead of having them analyzing data and looking for the issues.
