Charlie Forrest – Dingo’s New

Chief Executive Officer

Today, Dingo is announcing that Charlie Forrest will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Paul Higgins, who will now serve as Executive Chairman, effective immediately.

Mr. Forrest held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Dingo, bringing with him extensive expertise in Mining global Sales and Product Management. Over the course of his professional career, Charlie has held various executive roles, including Managing Director and Vice President.

Dingo’s board recommended a leadership transition to propel the next phase of business growth. This transition commenced with Charlie’s appointment to the company in late 2022, allowing him to establish a solid foundation upon which to further expand our operations. Since then, Dingo has been implementing a transformation plan, resulting in a threefold increase in investment in Sales and R&D capability.

Mr. Higgins stated, “Considerable planning has gone into this succession, with our company’s core values – Growth, Results, Teamwork, and Caring – serving as the guiding principles for our decision-making. Charlie is a proven mining technology executive, and after learning the fundamentals of Dingo’s business, is now applying his extensive industry experience, to lead the next stage of our growth.”

He continued, “For the majority of the past year, Charlie has played a pivotal role in shaping our strategy. His confident, capable handling of the refocused efforts and the swift delivery of results in both Software Development and Sales have been exemplary.”

Mr. Forrest expressed his gratitude, saying, “It is a tremendous honor to be entrusted with the leadership of Dingo. Dingo boasts an exceptional team of highly talented individuals, and it is now strategically well-positioned for the future. We have a laser focused strategy and a robust pipeline that has expanded sixfold in the past six months.”

Reflecting on his nearly 30-year tenure at Dingo, Mr. Higgins added, “I take immense pride in the journey we have taken since 1993. Our team have encountered numerous challenges and triumphs along the way, as we built a lasting Australian technology software business. In my role as Executive Chairman, I look forward to continuing to support Charlie and the team in the next phase of growth.” Mr. Higgins concluded.

“Partnering with Dingo allows us to leverage remotely located condition intelligence experts from the get-go for a fraction of the normal cost to company. This allows our few reliability experts to focus on the top issues and make important decisions to ensure our fleet availability is where it needs to be instead of having them analyzing data and looking for the issues.
