DINGO HONORED WITH AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT INNOVATION AWARD

Brisbane Australia, August 6 2001 - Dingo Maintenance Systems, developers of condition based asset management information systems, has been recognized for its commitment to innovation and research and development with an AusIndustry certificate of achievement.

The chairman of the Industry Research and Development Board, Dr Don Anderson, presented company representatives with the prestigious certificate at the business function at the Sheraton Hotel in Brisbane today.

Dingo Maintenance Systems is only one of six companies in Queensland companies to be honored at today's function.

The company has received funding for its R&D project through the Federal Government's business unit, AusIndustry, to develop its new Internet-based condition-monitoring information system referred to as "Maintenance Guy".

This online system creates a central database for equipment condition histories and generates intuitive graphs to help companies identify at-risk equipment and make cost -effective maintenance decisions.

Timely equipment condition information reduces costs through component life extension, extended oil drains and breakdown avoidance.

Dingo's "MaintenanceGuy" represents innovative use of the Internet to enhance the value of condition monitoring for organizations large and small.

The AusIndustry certificate is in recognition of this innovation and the potential benefits it can produce to industry.
