MaintenanceGuy Release 1.7 - the "Usability, Consistency and Reliability" release
The following is a brief summary of the major new features in MaintenanceGuy 1.7. Release date is Saturday February 19, 2005.
- Completely revised toolbar icons - the new icons are larger, clearer and easier to recognize
- Equipment Details and Hierarchy
- Standard window cut, copy and paste functionality works more consistently
- Sample points are created automatically when you create a component, removing a whole step in the equipment management process
- The top level entity cannot be deleted accidentally by the user - now you can click with more confidence
- Change oil on schedule or condition
- Move and rename equipment in one easy step
- Control what equipment your samples are matched to with intuitive question and answer help when moving and renaming equipment
- Sample severity can be set by the user
- Reports
- Font size has been increased to improve readability
- The Advanced Oil History report now enables a date to be entered so you can print a "last 6" report for anytime in history.
- Sample information is now repeated on each page, not each test section
- All reports can be exported in pdf and excel formats, allowing easy data sharing
- Sample Labels
- Labels can now be created from any screen in the software using new toolbar button
- You can choose to print asset or component information on the label
- The lab name and customer number are printed on the labels
- New Report - overdue samples
- Enter a date range to see a list of equipment that was not sampled within the date range
- Enter a number of days to see a list of equipment that wasn't sampled within that number of days prior to the report date
