Remote Interpretation - is it for your organization?

The idea of having someone external to your organization looking at your oil sample results is something that many people may not have considered before. More than likely this is because the logistics of making this happen efficiently were never available in the past. With the introduction of Dingo's MaintenanceGuy(tm) internet application it is now possible for an organizations oil sample results to be viewed from any computer connected to the internet, thus making the concept of real time remote analysis and interpretation a reality.

How can you decide if Remote Interpretation is suitable for you?
  • Does your organization lack the technical analysis capability to get the most out if your oil analysis data?
  • Is your organization unable to justify a full-time Reliability Engineer or Condition Monitoring Technician?
  • Do you want to start using Oil Analysis without the high up-front cost of software, training and additional personnel?
If you answered "Yes" to any of the above questions then the concept of Remote Interpretation could be for your organization. Using Dingo's Remote Interpretation services, oil samples are still taken at site in the usual fashion. The tested results are then delivered to Dingo's MaintenanceGuy(tm) application as soon as they are released from the laboratory. Both the site personnel and a Dingo Engineer are notified that the results have been received and the Dingo Engineer then analyzes each new sample and provides "expert" interpretation on each of these results. Any alarms or abnormal results are immediately forwarded to the site representative with plain English interpretations and suggested corrective actions. As you can see, this can be a very cost effective method to introduce the benefits of oil analysis to your organization, or to increase the scope of your existing program. This service can bring about significant benefits in areas such as reduced oil use, reduced equipment breakdowns, increased component life, extended oil drains and increased availability. Dingo's MaintenanceGuy(tm) application makes this unique type of service possible for anybody with access to the internet.
